On first sight of the blog “Grantland” you are greeted by their header, their logo which is their name in a serif 3D style. As you move down their home page their newest featured article is displayed with a relatively large photo that steals your attention from the header. The more you down the home page the smaller the articles get and the more sectioned off they get. I really like how their blog is set up. After initially looking at it, I was a little thrown off when I first looked at it, but it’s grown on me over time.
One of my favorite parts of the blog is the drop down menus. Without even scrolling their most recent featured articles are right there for you to find and rummage through. Going through the top three or four articles they provide a picture and a brief description of what the article is about.
Once you actually get into the piece, being an opinion based blog they can really provide as much information as they want. They can say absolutely whatever they want, and they do. They flush out any ideas they have and try to give the best reasons for whatever they are trying to prove in their article. I like that they are actually trying to prove their idea instead of just throwing it out there making it seem as if it is a fact.
